Role
Web Developer, UX Designer, Accessibility Reviewer
I designed and developed the ID2ID website as a solo designer and developer, creating a cleaner, more accessible, and easier-to-navigate experience for Penn State’s instructional design peer mentoring program. The project focused on improving how users learn about the program, understand its purpose, and move through key actions such as signing up, learning more, and exploring mentor/mentee opportunities.
My role included designing the visual layout, building the website structure, refining the navigation, creating responsive page sections, and improving the overall user experience. I also focused on accessibility best practices, including clearer content hierarchy, readable spacing, stronger landmark structure, and more intentional page organization.
The final website presents ID2ID as a welcoming professional development community while making the program’s information more approachable, organized, and user-friendly for instructional designers across higher education institutions.
