Dream Catcher is a top-down roguelike game that explores the surreal world of nightmares through the eyes of a child. Each run represents a unique “dream cycle,” combining dark, whimsical environments with evolving combat and permadeath mechanics. Players must navigate procedurally generated rooms, from twisted school halls to haunted carnivals, defeating enemies and collecting Dream Fragments to evolve their abilities.
With eerie visuals, meta-progression through collectible Dream Keys, and dynamic boss battles like The Principal and The Dream Eater, Dream Catcher blends emotional storytelling with fast-paced, replayable gameplay.
